Assalamualaikum,

I hope this message finds you and your family well. As you may know, on January 13, 2023 Al-Noor School held its PTA election and formed the PTA Board for School year 2022-2023. On behalf of the PTA Board, I would like to thank the Al Noor School Board of Trustee and administration for organizing the meeting, encouraging parents to join and facilitating the PTA election. I would also like to thank the parents and teachers who attended and participated, as without your participation this would not be possible. The primary goal of this PTA is to promote collaboration and engagement of parents, educators, administrators, alumni, and board members for the betterment of our school, our children's education and Al-Noor Community. Despite a late start and ongoing challenges posed by the pandemic, we plan to take many initiatives to support our school, teachers, and staff for our children in the coming weeks and months. As an Al-Noor parent, you are a PTA member by default, however, in order for us to succeed, it’s important for parents to play an active role. Fortunately, we have a very diverse community here at Al-Noor, with all professional backgrounds and expertise, and we look forward to your contribution in any way possible. If you’d like to participate in various PTA Committees for our school, please provide your contact information to office@alnoornyc.org Additionally, if you haven’t joined the “Al Noor Parents 2022-23” Whatsapp group, please request to join also.
